Royal Air Maroc has a sizable presence of flights out of Morocco into Europe and Western Africa. They currently offer non-stop flights in Casablanca (CMN) to New York (JFK), Washington, DC (IAD), and Montreal (YUL). They previously had declared they are starting flights to Miami (MIA) at April 2019 and Boston (BOS) at July 2019. Check out the current route system below.
The 787 aircraft that are installed at a and a 2-2-2 business course exclusively operates the Royal Air Maroc North American routes.
The 787's are configured with only 18 business class seats and 256 economy chairs. The business class seats are unique as shown above, in that 1 chair sits higher than another paired seats when reclined into bed mode. 767's in their fleet are worth avoiding if possible. Royal Air Maroc does possess a fleet of 737's that are installed with a real first class product, instead of the awful blocked middle chair European national course that you generally find in the area. I can not wait to be able to redeem my miles to visit Morocco as it is among my favourite destinations. It's great to see out a hole into their own alliance network fills. I wouldn't be surprised to see Royal Air Maroc expand to pay for destinations around Africa as hopefully this partnership proves fruitful.
